Hi Elaine and Stuart, If there's still space could you add Pam and I to the list, please? Many thanks, John

Hi Adrian Thanks for that you are now on the list. And just to update everyone we only have 2 car spaces left

You're welcome, Elaine. In the excitement of an event, paperwork is easily overlooked, but essential to avoid unforeseen consequences for organisers and the Club. [;)] Regards, Clive.

What a great day! Many thanks to Stuart and Elaine for the Region involvement, and a particularly big thank-you to Andy and Jill for sorting the routes and hosting/cooking the delicious BBQ - great food in an idyllic setting, rounded off with great company and lovely weather. A perfect day, many thanks indeed, John and Pam

Fantastic day, super food, excellent organisation, great route, lovely company. I seem to recall Stuart suggesting the speeds as 30 limit, stick to 30, 40 limit, stick to 40 ish, everywhere else we would be pootling along in a convoy. Well, there must have been a hole in my 991's fuel tank as I recorded 16 mpg on the return run until the Tesco van turned out in between me and the Blue Boxter and we lost the front half of the convoy, it then improved to 20 mpg can't think why when we were only pootling along [;)]

We would also like to add our thanks to Jill and Andy for their hospitality at their lovely home and to Elaine and Stuart for their organising involvement. Yet again, great weather (coping well with the pressure Elaine [;)]), fantastic company and an altogether superb day out. Really enjoyed the "pootle" around, next time we'll try and be more involved in the in-car communication exchanges. Until next time, regards Viv & Steve

Thanks to you all for attending and turning the day into a great event. The cars seemed to fit into Andy and Jills drive perfectly and were a sight to be seen with a special guest appearance from Gary and his McLaren. We certainly do have some fantastic cars in our region and its great to see them out and about but trying to tame a GTS, GT2, GT3, GT3 RS4 and a McLaren was never going to happen but the rest of us had some fun keeping up. It was a superb route and will be put into our "to do again folder". Another great day. Many thanks Elaine and Stuart

Another thank you from us to Elaine and Stuart - a really enjoyable Sunday drive [:D][:D] and a big thank you to Andy and Jill for their route, pace and bbq. We even got a quick tour of the house and gardens thrown in - the National Trust charge extra for that...

Elaine It's great to see the region putting on some great events, my wife and myself both really enjoyed every aspect of the day, so many thanks for organising it and allowing us to join [:)] Our sincere thanks also must go to our hosts in Andy and Jill, with the Porsche shaped cakes and coffee to start us off, to a brilliant drive worthy of an A star- star on the 997 register scale [8D] Superb selection of BBQ food presented by our hosts.. to top that some wonderful weather to really enjoy the location and associated guests attending the day. Many thanks to all for a great day [:)]

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. Jill and I were delighted to host the event which may become a regular in the regional calendar if we get our breath back! The original intention was to get everyone up to Shelsley Walsh to see the facilities but they were hosting one of their major Classic meetings - hence the route which provided a challenging drive at " modest" speeds ( ..... 16 mpg!) Perhaps route reversal next time? Andy Ps - the Porsche 911 scrapbook ( the air cooled cars) given to me as a thank you is tremendous and thoroughly recommended as a Christmas present!
