Region 13 Report for November 2012
New member from Malvern, David Siviter, reminded me that I had made a mistake with his wife's name. I apologise, Felicity.
Unfortunately, due to some recent grievances, particularly about the Chateau, I had to ask Andy Nevitt if he would kindly suspend his talk until next year.
I called a special meeting this month, to look into these concerns but only thirteen of us turned up. It was no help to find that none of those who had complained, were able to turn up.
Nevertheless, we reviewed all the comments, whereby, they are all water under the bridge and we look forward to meeting on the 29th January 2013, at the Hundred House Hotel, when we shall be concerned only with considering this as a new meeting place and be putting together a programme for 2013.
This will include, two meeting nights as runs out to other venues, yet to be decided.
I have been asked to book the Skittles and Dinner again as for next February, when we hope to see families participate. Contact me as soon as you can so I can sort out arrangements with The Bell Inn.
Looking towards the coming Track Day Season, I am arranging for Steve Kevlin, Director & Motorsport Manager, to come and talk to us about this popular activity in our Club.
It is proposed to hold our Concours at Hampton Court Castle as referred to last month, in June.
Ian and Lesley Crosskell are looking into a visit to the grounds of Ludlow Castle.
There are many other events and we shall be coordinating these in January, in amongst other Club events. I have already received several suggestions, which will be included. If you have anything that interests you, please come along on the 29th January. Some of us will be meeting about six pm, to have a meal, before the meeting starts at 7.30 pm.
There was a question raised about missing ladies. I know some don't come because they are not interested in cars. However, if we can encourage them to come, then we may be able to do something to interest a ladies group.
Finally, I have been trying for sometime to arrange that the Club would set up a Regional Notice e mail system, but to no avail. Fortunately Steve Cutler is able to do this so that in the near future you should all receive private mail as reminders of imminent events. If you are unsure about your subscription, please e mail, to steve@myimages.me.uk
There will be no meeting in December.
Have a great Christmas and let us all look forward to a successful New Year.......................John

Dinner & Skittles is booked for the evening of 26th February at the Bell Inn, Lower Broad Heath, Worcester. Cost will be £8.50 for a two course meal. PLease let me know if you can come, so I can send you a Menu choice.

I have spoken to the new manager at the Bowling Green and they are prepared to accommodate us, so I propose that we meet there in MARCH and reconsider this also. It is now a Wadworth's Pub.
