A whopping big thankyou to all participants, marshals and other volunteers & helpers, Tristan for the simulation time trials, Ciro, Dove House and the fantastic help, guidance and support from PCGB HQ and in particular to Mark Grimwood and especially to Mike Calvert for much of the 'behind the scenes' hard work and management of this event. It was a mammoth task and was great to see it come to fruition. The most pleasing thing for me was that it seems everyone thoroughly enjoyed this event (even if the weather was appalling) and our spirit wasn't broken.
Many, many thanks to you all.
Gary.
I obviously echo all Gary’s sentiments and a BIG thanks to him as well for making it all work.
Next year’s Road Run 2 should be a breeze after this inaugural run in appalling weather!
My sincere thanks to you all for your time and effort... see you soon [8D]
What a fantastic event, sincerely well done to those who arranged, supported and stood in the rain welcoming us all from the start to the end. A brilliant event which has set the standard even though it was our first rally. Cannot wait for the next one. Also nice one Sharnbrook for such fantastic food and incredible value. Just hoping my lap time on the PlayStation remained🏎
Many thanks to all for a great day and great company
Neil and Sara
We are all so pleased with the turnout today in appalling conditions, so thanks for all the support. It really makes it worthwhile putting effort in to organise events if the take-up is as positive as it has been.
It was great too, to see R10 members we hadn’t met before today as well as our regular friends, and I hope we can tempt you to other events - yes, you know you want to! Special thanks go to those who travelled from afar to join us from other regions.
Finally, I reiterate thanks to today’s marshals, Tristan with the race simulator, everyone at PCGB HQ, and at the Sharnbrook, one very damp photographer from the Rushden Club, plus anyone else I have forgotten!!
(If you have read this, and while you are in the zone (!), please refer to other posts about October and November POTMs and sign up without delay!!!)
Happy motoring...
Mark
A quick picture I took before the cars departed from Sharnbrook
Thanks, Tom
At one point I did think it was funny when a Porsche not on the tour ended up in the convoy of Porsche's!
I took a few more at the half way stop but unfortunately only got the cars that were in our group;

Thanks for the kind words Chris. It’s a fantastic club and a good number of us at R10 are having an increasingly good time enjoying so many great club and regional events.
