[FONT=calibri"]If you have not done so already it’s time to get your Porsche`s out for our first drive of the year.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Similar but better to our well attended drive last year, approximately 50 miles [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Starting at Queen Square BS1 4QS where there will be massive display of various vehicles for the Avenue drivers club.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]It’s always interesting to have a look at the cars on display from old to new with a couple of cafés for a coffee or breakfast.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Unless you arrive around 08.00 you will probably have to park outside the square but that’s not a problem as there are plenty of streets with free parking at weekends.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

[FONT=calibri"]We will then drive in to the square to group up aiming to leave at 10.30. You will be given directions for the drive out of Bristol, up onto the Mendips and back to the Helicopter Museum.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]The drive is similar to last year where we parked up on Weston sea front for fish and chips.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]This time with a couple of extra loops added on to make it longer and a different route into Weston for the Museum. [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Apart from your petrol the only cost will be the Museum entrance where you will pay at the door, [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]The fee is £7.00 but we may get a discount depending on the group size, there is a Café for lunch if you so wish.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]It is an open cockpit day where there will be more on display and flights available to pay for depending on weather[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"] [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]If you only want to do the drive and meet us at the start you will be most welcome.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]It’s a fun drive on some great roads with a few combe`s and gorge`s[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]There is plenty of parking at the Museum[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Please note[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]We have a list of members coming along so please contact us if you would like to join in on a great day[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

Best regards
Elaine and Stuart

Hi Elaine / Stuart

Definitely up for this. Cal and I will both be coming. Look forward to seeing everyone....

Paul

Count me in Stuart , I've changed my plans when I saw this l I was going to ultimate dubs at Telford to see the Porsche stand , but this was great last year so I will be there with my freshly painted 911 ??

Cal double booked so coming on my own anyway. Spare seat now available if needed.

There is a good group of us going for the drive and as the weather has brightened up it will probably bring out some more on the day.
There will probably be plenty of other Porsche`s at the square.

For this event a last minute decision is not a problem

Had some fun the other day checking out the route and that was in the wet so I am looking forward to tomorrow

Stuart / Elaine ......Thanks for organising a good day (inlcuding the great weather)

Great trip out , really enjoyed it , thanks for organising this and also nice to meet more fellow owners
and roll on castle Combe next ??

It was nice to meet such friendly folk at the club event after my 20 year absence and for those of you who felt my bypass pipes made my exhaust sound too noisey, you'll be pleased to note that I thought the same and I've replaced them with some Topgear sports boxes. It's third time lucky for me as I originally tried some Dansk sports boxes but felt they sounded pretty rubbish. The change also means I'll be able to do a couple of track days.
I had hoped to join you all at The Huntsman but was laid low with a bloody awful cold. See you at CC....
