No - not a junk heap one might own but prefer to refer to as a "project car". No I was thinking about what to do with a firm but ageing SC. Mine has 135K on the clock , engine sound (crosses fingers) , top end and gear box rebuild with a bit of rust in the usual places. I know I am tempting fate but it seems to be at the moment a sound car which is never going to take top dollar because it's an SC and it will have higher mileage than many I see.
If my business venture works then in a few years time I hope to get a 993 4S/Turbo/RS - which'll be nice. I was wondering what to do with the SC. In the likely event of the it not being worth that much and I will of course be making so much money that a 993TT will be small change [

One obvious option is to turn it in to a track car but I'm not that happy with the 915 box - mine's good by 915 standards but I'd rather use the 993 TT
The other option is to turn it into something else . I'm not that keen on '73 RS conversions But I was wondering what other special cars of it's vintage could I "fake" it into. I did think about that Dakar Rally based SC which was on show at Goodwood. Something extreme like that. Or perhaps a Gulf respray. I don't think I'll be fitting a V8 in the front or going Chav Nova style but a discrete supercharger is always an option [:-]
