Previously Overlooked Model: 924 Spyder

So wrong on so many levels ! [:'(] You would think that as none of these cars ever seem to sell they might have learnt their lesson by now and given up wasting their time and money on "creating" them. That "Spyder" is the worst yet and that's against some stiff competition !

That Spider certainly is different. It's not to my taste, but I think it could be an 'interesting' example if the number plate was put back where it should be, they didn't paint the centre console and didn't remove half of the interior trim. Then it might be a good £1500 car for somebody. Also, by chopping the roof and adding some stiffening the car is now lighter and stiffer? [&:] That snake really is something...

Possibly if someone liked that sort of thing, but I think what adds insult to injury with regards to this operation is the price they then try and charge for the poor unfortunate vehicles. [&:]

I agree completely. There are much more interesting, unique, faster and better looking cars that can be had for the money they're asking.

Porsche couldn't manage to achieve that, I would love to know how the experts at Autograph did.

ORIGINAL: edh Have they ever sold a car? Most of these have been on sale for ever
thats what I keep thinking - surely they can only keep creating these things for so long ? I cant honestly imagine anyone buying any of these at any price ?? perhaps someone with lots of spare cash just likes building them ?? Baffling ...

[/quote] I understand these guys are now working as subcontractors for the Porsche Design Department.[;)] I believe this prototype was offered to Porsche AG and with a few small mods it became the Boxster Spyder![&o]
