Evening everyone,

Just looking for company recommendations for PPF film for my 991.1

I’m near Harrogate.

I’m thinking of having the front end done depending on the cost. Has anyone had any experience and has it all been ok once done? My car already has Gtech ceramic coating applied.

Thanks in advance.
Neil

Hi Neil

I had my full front end PPF'd, including windscreen, by Mitch @ Inspired Automotive.
He uses ProFilm, very good service and attention to detail.
Had no issues arising since ( Job completed Oct 23)
Plus the unit it just down the road from you, at Rotherham

Cheers
Andy

Sorry but I Can‘t recommend anywhere local to you, however I was told by a reputable PPF installer that you shouldn’t install film on top of ceramic coating. I was going to add a track pack PPF to my 992 (Front end) but decided against it as the ceramic coating that had only been on the car for a few months would need to be polished off.
BTW I was quoted £1200 for the front end.

A bit late to reply but a friend of mine recommended The Vehicle Wrapping Centre and I've just dropped mine off to get the ppf on my side mirror replaced and a bit on my front left bumper fixed where it had lifted a bit (me being careless with a pressure washer).

Looks like they have done a lot of high end cars but as far as I know they've just changed ownership so who knows.

They seem to know what they are doing though. Will let you know when I get it back tomorrow

Forgot to come back to this but got my car back and they did a good job so can recommend TVWC as well, they are located near the Porsche Centre in Leeds
