Hi
im having a new cayman delivered to Porsche Leeds in May would anyone know who d there PPF for them .
thanks

Have you asked them who they use? They did ours in 2016 and the company they used, who came to them, and did in the garage was from Northampton however I think they ceased trading only recently.
Otherwise you would need to shop around other local companies and arrange for your car to be taken to them if they can’t do it at the OPC.

Better if you find your own as there's a chance they will outsource it and add a bit on top.

If you're looking at a full front clip plus side skirts you'll be looking at ~£1500.

I’ve not had PPF done, but Leeds Porsche did a ceramic coating on my Cayman. Honestly, very poor and overpriced. If you look on the detailing forums everyone says stay well away from dealer services like these. I ended up getting mine redone by Glyn O’Donnell (Elite Detailer) in York. Brilliant job.

in Leeds AdvanceDetail are supposed to be very good. They do inside and out coatings and also PPF. I’ve a new Cayman coming in the next month or so and am planning to take it there.

Yes, my 25th Anniversary has had rear ppf there, the front was done by Topaz in London from new. Very happy with the level of protection that Harry and the team at ATD have given my car.

Peter,

Thanks for your swift reply with information. It sounds like your experience is that ATD’s work is at least comparable to that of Topaz? You sound like you’ve got the ideal way of making a comparison on your car!

Thanks

Steve

I used ATD to PPF the front of my 996 C4S & ceramic coat it, they did a first class job & were nice to deal with.

Just to follow up from my last post. I had AdvanceDetail in Leeds do PPF on the front of my Cayman and ceramic coating. Cracking job. Would recommend. John who runs it is great.
