1985 Mini 1000 (25th Anniversary in Silver)
1986 XR2 - Freddie, the boy king of hot hatches. Still driving around Guildford.
1991 Metro GTI - needed 1 litre of oil per 500 miles. Used to get a free cup of tea from the garage that did it.
1995 Mini Cooper
2000 Citroen Saxo VTR
1996 Escort Cabrio (wifes when we met)
1991 Lotus Elan SE - bought in 2001 with 12,000 on the clock - time warp
1998 Lotus Elise S1 - still got "the old boy" - 62,000 now on the clock and it still squeaks like when it was only 2 years old.
2000 Lotus 340R - hard work but still great.
1983 Lotus Sunbeam - ongoing project with father in law
2000 Subaru Impreza P1 - brilliant
2003 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO7 FQ300
2003 Subaru Impreza STI PPP
1998 Porsche 996 C2
2004 Porsche 997 C2S - my favourite.

W 1981 Golf mk1 1500 GL (1987-88) "" so much better after Talbot, that I bought 5 more
Y 1983 Golf mk1 1500 GX (1988-90) "" great little car, one of my favourites [
C 1985 Golf mk2 1600 CL (1990-91) "" overweight, underpowered, stodgy, disappointing. [:'(]
E 1988 Golf mk2 GTI 8v (1991-93) "" fabulous, loved it. [
G 1990 Golf mk2 GTI 8v Convertible (1993-4) "" disappointing, understeering nightmare. [:'(]
J 1992 Golf mk2 GTI 8v (1994) "" rogue insurance rebuild, sold back to trade for massive loss.[
J 1991 Corrado G60 (1994-95) "" surprisingly good, no trouble from supercharger
K 1993 Corrado VR6 (1995-97) "" sublime car, massively under-rated. Still miss it. [
J 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 (1997-1999) "" first Porsche, real event to drive, but massively expensive to run and handling didn't instil confidence.
W 2000 Porsche Boxster S (2000-2005) "" another star car, just so good at everything. [
55 2005 Porsche Cayman S (2005+) "" dynamically better than Boxster, but is it such a good all rounder?"¦

1974 Ford Escort GLS - in roman purple!! Hey man....!![&:]
1979 Cortina GLS in white (couldn't afford a Crapi)[8D]
1980 Peugeot 305GRD - surprisingly comfy
1983 Vauxhall Cavalier SRi (excellent car in it's day and with great recaro seats)
1985 Ford XR3i in Blue - went like stink (comparatively speaking of course)[
1986 Opel Kadett GTE (plus Honda MTX 200 Bike/ Kawasaki GPZ 550)
1990 Renault 5 GT turbo - Flimsy but went like a rocket once turbo cut in - weighed about the same as a packet of walkers crisps though!
1987 Volkswagen GTi 16v MK2 3 dr- brilliant, brilliant - one of the best cars I've ever owned![
1985 Porsche 944 2.5 (plus Honda VFR750 and Goldwing Aspencade 1200)[
1988 Alfa Romeo 75 3.0 Cloverleaf (seemingly in kit form, but inspired engine and handling when it worked [
1986 Montego 2.0L (seemed like a good idea at the time but wasn't! Doh!!)[:-]
1987 Suzuki Santana 1300 - handled like a pig on a pogo stick and had all the wet weather capability of a partially erected tent at 60mph (plus BMW K100 RS)[:'(]
1986 BMW 323i -great car [
1992 BMW 520i Auto SE - lovely build, but gutless (Harley Davidson 1340 Heritage Softail, equally gutless but good fun)
1990 Mercedes Cosworth 2.5 16v - fast, well made but dog leg gearbox did not endear along with lack of torque.
1980 Porsche 911 SC Sport- (black, looked evil, went well, smelt plain weird inside - mixture of old engine oil, strange plasticy niff, magic tree pong and something organic I know not what)[&:]
1993 BMW 525i auto SE - very well made, handled well and went OK (plus BMW K1 which I was nearly killed on after a 3.5 tonne lorry hit me - miraculaous escape with torn leather jacket, concussion and brsuising and an Arai helmet worn down to the inner fabric! Thanks someone 'upstairs'!)[8|]
2001 Boxster 986S - brilliant fun
2005 Boxster 987S - Even more brilliant fun
