If it's easier we could do the McDonalds at Hemel, just off the M1? I don't really need to go miles east to South Mimms, but I can cross-country to Hemel and be further up the M1 as well. And still get my sausage mcmuffin. [8D]

That might be a better option. That run round to the M40 is a right pain at the moment.
 
Don't know if I am going to be able to go to this or not yet. I suspect not but will know for sure one way or the other closer to the time. If yes will happily join a convoy (in KW cushioned loveliness) even though its a bit of a diversion for me to loop down to the M25 and then back up either M1 or M40. [&o]

Time to have words about getting time off. Anyone going past Warwick? I have the Warwick Services on the M40 near me, Porridge Pot opposite the Hilton Hotel off the M40 Jct 15, and en route the Hopwood services. EDIT: Scrap that, car's going in for the engine swap on Wednesday. Have fun guys :).
 
I will be going up the A417 towards the M5 and then M5 up to Brum. Hopefully see some of you guys there or en-route !
 
If i can wriggle out of normal weekend jobs i would love to come to this[8|],have to see if i can get my stamps in order..
 
This really is looking to be the biggest event of the year for the 944 Register. Looking forward to meeting lots of new faces. Please come and introduce yourselves, it's always good to meet the people behind the forums. [:)]
 
Ah but Paul, will you be wearing a pink carnation or carrying a copy of the times under your right arm , how would we know who to introduce ourselves too [8|] that is the question [&:]
 
Hi All Will be heading over leaving Leicester 9.0 - 9.30 ish with a couple of passengers. Anybody want to drive over that sort of time - Elliot Ian Mark? Cheers Mike
 
Happily looks like I can come after all. Not sure whether to try and link up with the M1/M40 convoy (those M25 roadworks are a right *****) or head across country in an A14/M6 kind of direction. Anyone planning on taking that sort of route ?
 
Jon , I have used that A14/M6 route a lot to get over that way for dog shows and I think you could do a lot worse. A507 M1 - M6 is my other preferred one. Sadly having sold my 944 Turbo last week I'm not sure if I'll be going ( not quite the same turning up in your Volvo D5). Regards Mas
 
I am going to be there I already contacted Porscheshop about a couple of mods I would like [:D] Travelling from Doncaaster M1 south I dont expect it to be that much quicker on the way home though [:)]
 
Things are looking up for me to be able to make this event, car has been off road for a few days due to my latest mods but hey it now runs great...[:)][:)] I'll be there as long as all goes to plan at work on Friday.. it's going to be a hell of a day so hope it doesn't take up to much of my energy....lol hope to see you there guys...oh and who's going up from south and at what time.. it's been a while since I've been in a road trip of Porsches...[8D] Pete
