I recall seeing a link to Porsche wheel specifications ? I have been trying to find it online but to no avail .
It gave the weights of each wheel and manufacturer who made them i.e BBS
If a Porsche wheel has Italy stamped on the inside ? Does this mean it is a copy ? Or did they make any Porsche wheels in Italy ?

And yes, many genuine rims were made in Italy (as well as many copies).

That is the one ! Thanks you :) May I ask how to tell the difference between a genuine Italian made Porsche wheel and a copy ??

Porsche part number. Copies wont have them. usually starting with a type number that you recognise such as 951, 964, 996 or similar.

Also the genuine Porsche ones have the width and offset numbers in small raised numerals either side of the valve stem.
The copies/replicas dont...

Thats anecdoatal rather than something to reply on though. Porsche wheels will also have the parts logo on them.

Thanks for all your replies .
They do have part numbers and also have ET numbers next to the valves , just that I had never noticed Italy stamp on them before
and I thought they may have been copies.

Cheers best regards J
