Porsche Sports Exhaust

coffeekid said:
Hi Paul - I had it fitted by the OPC in Belfast - no issues at all since fitting and so glad I bit the bullet and had it done
Many thanks. How long did they need the car for? Was it completed in a day?

Yes done in a day and that included fitting the new exhaust, the new button panel, all associated wiring and programming

Transformed the car

They drone at around 2000 rpm whether on or off. No way would I have one, it would drive me mad.

Weird, I generally don't get any drone in mine. Bit boomy with the roof up before the engine/exhaust has warmed up, but otherwise great, especially with the roof down.

Completely agree. No drone at all with PSE. Miltek on an Audi RS4, that's what I'd call a drone. Unbearable.

Evening all

im a bit late to this post but thought I’d try my luck.

Had my 981 for two years now, with PSE which is fantastic.

But... yes, there is that drone at 2000 revs, right on 70mph which is a pain on the motorway.

Has as anyone heard of any fix to this?

Cheers

Paul

Hi all,

quick question if anyone knows… have they removed the exhaust button on the 2022 718 base cayman model?

I was in a bang up to date Cayenne Coupe recently and I think the sports exhaust was selected through the touch screen. Could be wrong, it was a short test drive and there was so much to take in.

i was thinking it might be through the pcm but wasn’t sure … I know in the configurator the Interior photo does not have the button on the centre console anymore
