Porsche Specialist in the Isle of Man

I have some work in the Isle of Man next week and it might just be possible to bring the car over...

Haven't been there for a long time, but remember that there was no VAT and no speed limits on some roads - am I still correct?

If so, can anyone recommend someone on the Island who might be able to fit me some new suspension all round, so that I can then stay an extra night and have a proper blast on my birthday! Wouldn't want to risk it on my knackered 88,000 mile shock-absorbers!

Thanks in advance...

Wasn't a problem for my 280,000 mile suspension (911 2.7S 1974) but on one visit I blew the ####ing engine up. [:-]

The only person I would recommend for major works would be Paul Dangerfield at South Coast Performance (01624-663516) - scpltd@manx.net

He really is excellent, and his workshop is always full of amazing cars. But, he does get busy and he does take his time to do the job properly. I cannot recommend anyone else.
