Hi,
I'm a long standing Porsche owner but a fairly recent member to the club so I wasn't sure what to expect at Witton Castle in August. What I found was a well organised and very friendly bunch of car enthusiasts, similar to the MGOC that I'm also a member of but less stuffy!!!
I recorded the event, which is on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=gQF4Sp4jbuQ
It's quite long for a YouTube video but there were so many excellent Porsches that I didn't want to trim it. As enthusiasts I hope you enjoy it. Also you must go to the end, which is my wife's favourite bit!
. You'll also see my 981 Boxster S in the concourse event, it's the one with the fly's on it
Incidentally if like me, you're a real piston head and you'd like to see my 1958 MG Magnette, which was my Dad's car before me from new and now fitted with a 4.0 V8 engine and tons of other mods that I've sweated blood and tears over, you can also see that on YouTube at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2lKAnKDv0E
I'd be pleased to hear your views.
Great to be in the R3 club and a big thanks to Greg and Debs for the warm welcome.
Dave
