Porsche Macan - baby Cayenne

I note that the media is still insisting that the Macan is based on Audi Q5. I have been told different. Moreover, a study of these photos, together with pics of Q3, will show that I am right and the media is wrong! [:D]

ps if the Macan is half as good as Q3, it will be stupendous. But I expect it to be twice as good [:D]
 
Don't agree., but I may be wrong. It has happened before[:D]

But, I have compared the photos with my Q3. They are very similar. Moreover, remember that Q5 is about to change, ie due a big update. I just think Q3 is more logical as Q5 is too close to Cayenne.
 
whatever it is based on[:D] it looks the business.

i will have little trouble persuading linda to finally ditch her bavarian tourer!!!

My wife has a q5 and having driven the cayenne I would say that the cayenne is more similar to the q7 rather than the q5 but we have placed an order for the Macan -also having owned an BMW x5 very nice car to drive

Well we will have to see. I too have driviven both Cayenne & Q5 (my son has a Q5). I just hope that Macan is not too big. I love the Q3; nimble, easy to park, economical and capable. The Macan should be excellent.
 
Alligator .. that figures ..and scares me a little .. I just think most car manufacturers have lost the plot, including porsche , they should stick to what they do best

On that happy note I am out of here, literally ... and off to Nevada , my Ferrari, Boxster and TT now sadly gone ..

Nevada - the first state to legalise driverless cars , God help me!

At least the weather and roads should be better and I have happily succumbed to my basic instinct and am replacing the above with a nice new 911 carrera S PDK (LHD of course) , its very understated , in Guards red of course !

Aren't there enough cars on the roads already to be putting ones on with no drivers too?!!! [8|] [;)]
 
Not to worry, Mike. Many cars on the road might as well not have drivers anyway, as they are either asleep / texting / slapping the kids / eating their breakfast / doing their make-up / on another planet most of the time when supposedly "˜driving' [8|].
