Porsche logo door cards

I am on the lookout for a pair of black door cards, which have the Porsche logo running through the fabric to match the Porsche scripted seats. Can anyone tell me if these are available and are they available to suit the later models? It is my intension to fit them to an S2 model.

Not sure such a door card exists - my 1991 S2 has a Porsche script interior and the door cards are solid vinyl - no cloth. Mine came out of Japan with a ROW VIN. My option sticker is missing so no telling what is non standard but all other indications suggest that mine is unmolested and original.

The reason for my question is that I am contemplating changing my linen interior to black so it will be easier to keep clean if you see what I mean. I have a set of Porsche scripted seats but would like the door cards to match if such a thing exists.

I've not seen logo doorcards myself. Plenty in pinstripe, in all colours, and some of the check designs, but not logo.

I guess plain black would look fine, or you could get some covered in logo?

Material to match the trim was an option. Poverty spec = vinyl door cards. Optioned up with script seats = script door cards.

I may well end up going for plain black by the sound of things. Correct me if i'm wrong but the early doorcards differ from S2 cards. Next question; is logo material available and if so where from?

Square dash door cards are different from all oval dash cars (ie oval dash 2,5 lux, is the same as S, as S2, as Turbo)

As per Edd, I have full script seats and script doorcards, both are listed as options on the COA I got through the club.

There you go then - I guess I got the poverty door cards with my script seats. The COA I got from Porsche North America only shows side moldings and the "16 ventiler" mouldings as options. I must say that the ROW VIN on my car seemed to completely baffle them and to be honest - why "16 ventiler" mouldings would be an option on a car that only came with a 4 valve per cylinder engine is a mystery to me...

On the other hand - I've never been able to find out what was "standard equipment" for the different markets - e.g. Japan, U.K., U.S. etc. For example - along with the "poverty cards" I have NO air bags although most North American web sites say that air bags were standard on 944s after 89 or 90....

Mine has script door cards, had script seats too.

And you need to replace them with carbon for lightness (manual windows, cloth door pulls etc.), then sell your script ones to the OP. Everyone's happy! [;)]

Dont tempt me Paul, although I wouldnt go for carbon, plain vinyl will do me, with RS handles and pocket removed. You see I thought about it already!

Poverty spec cars are usually better, so dont lose any sleep over my description. [;)]

No worries! I actually like thinking my sun-roof delete, no cruise, no air bags, cloth seats and base 4 speaker stereo with no equalizer must be faster because it MUST be at least 20 pounds lighter [:D]
