Picked up my 944 today :D also a few questions.

Looks good Wil, whole lot better than the blue one I looked at pleased for you (and Dad!)

The moggy is looking a bit suspicious though hope that is not a Tom! [:D][:D]

Cheers guys :)
Ye I like the seats as well they seem unusual not seen them in any pics of 944's for sale either and are in very good condition pretty much no bolster wear except small amount of "bobbling" has accorded.
Glad it seems better than the blue one you viewed for me (and still owe you a beer or something for that when we both attend a meet). He is a tom but he's had the snip so he's called Jaffa as he's ginger and has no seed lol, unfortunatly we have three tom's but luckily they dont seem (or havnt witnessed) to use the cars lol.

Does look like you found a good one Will. I like the seats too. When I bought my turbo was smitten with a white one with that interior - until I saw photos of all the rust!

Thanks guys, and gutted man, seing rust or similar is always a let down on a car your smitten by! Hopefully though you found another your equally happy with though!
O ye cant bit a bit of the stones and that CD is a cracking 3 disk compilation perfect (designed) for driving!Get to drive the car up to see Springsteen in june(or july? cant remember which) which is gonna be another good combo I think!

It does look like Studio, which was used on a limited edition of 30 Celebration Luxes with unique seat fabric and body-colour wheels. Someone was looking for replacement fabric a few years ago and it was impossible to find. It's not that common to see full-cloth either, usually the bolsters are vinyl. Look after it!

Oli he is a lovely cat and was a stray like all the cats we have and have had are , hes called Jaffa as he's ginger and as we had him neutered and has no "seed" lol.
Paul thats really cool didn't realise it was so rare, interior will be taken care of as I have a bit of an OCD when it comes to the interior of my cars (have found some slight wear on the vinyl next to where the hand brake drops up and down, though with the seat nearly all the way back seems to avoid it now). Though reading that my car is slightly different as I have black carpets, dont have the cloth door cards just vinyl, dont have split rears either possible it has been a modification by a previous owner? Though I do have the electric sunroof. Think I shall check the certificate of authentication from porsche that came with the car and see if theres any more information on that as it lists the extras i belive.

The easiest way is to look at the options sticker under the boot carpet (if it is still there) and see if you've got M757 listed.

I suspect, though, that like so many of these cars it may have inherited bits it didn't originally start out with :) It's all part of their charm.

I believe its there I think Terry showed it to us when we went to view it, thats what i was going to look for in the mourning save faffing about in the dark, but as you said probably a nice inheritance somewhere down the line.

Love the car Will, happy you found what you were looking for, next time I'm down lets hook up and get a closer look. You must be itching to drive the bloody thing...

Edd

Cheers Edd I cant wait to get it on the road driving it up and down the drive to sort bits and clean the interior just isnt the same. Sounds good when your next heading down send me a pm closer to the time and we can sort something out!

Will

Will, good to see you finally found the right one. In the end I am glad I stay at the other end of the country from you as I haven't quite decided on selling mine yet, and had I sold it would be regretting it now. Also I was on Holiday when you asked for details of mine.

As for a roofrack, I was offered one 5 months ago but have no need for one, I contacted the guy for you, but he had skipped it. He was gutted when I told him they go for around £200.

Your car looks really clean, as you will know by now the sills need to be kept in check, have a look down the doorshut vents with a camera, if all seems well at the moment then treat them with something like Bilthamer S50 to preserve them. Insert the nozzle down the vent and also up the drain holes at bottom edge of sill moving nozzle in and out to cover as much as possible. Tip, put newspaper on floor below sill to catch excess.

Enjoy when the day comes that you can drive her,

Alan.

Fair enough alan no worries bud :) that you decided on keeping it now?
Cheers mate any leads on roof bars will be cool keep my options open.
Car seems really clean checked the sills and seem to be clean but then again they were new sills only fitted 2 years ago by the previous owner though asshe's going to be used as a daily driver in wet cornwall they are something I am going to be keeping an eye on, though am thinking once the weather is better to give them a coating to protect them.
Thanks
