or should i have put rust tank

Just had it jet washed with a 300 degree heat all i can say is i have had enough rust to fill 2 bags of sugar come out of it

nice and clean now only trouble is i have small holes in it now :( but they are being sorted tomorrow :)

told you it was the way to go. Por 15 it afterwards and it will seal it nice like new

read the tin !

pour in the de-greaser then wash loads to get rid of it all.

Pour in the Rust eater to do it' s stuff

Then you MUST leave it to dry for a few days I used a hair dryer on the filler neck to warm up the tank and make it dry then pour in the sealant stuff

make sure you leave it to drain afterwards for days not hrs ops my mistake then it will be fine

Yep as I got the kit from Frost my self the only thing that is a bit on the small side is the de greaser but if you have jetted the tank then that will be fine.

It can only go wrong if you don' t do what it says on the tin.....[:)] take your time

Yeah, I thought the pack quantities were a bit on the tight side. I have a really good pressure washer so that shouldn' t be a problem if I can get it inside somehow

nick i took my tank to a local valet place that had a professional steam cleaner type thing they cranked the temp up to 300c as my jet wash didnt touch it but this thing well it got it all out and only cost me a tenner[:D]

Perhaps we could set up a group buy on the kit coz i want one so does u and gavin

what do u think

i have set these sort of things up before and u do get a bit off

yep the garden jet wash is cr*p I had a high pressure jet that we used to cut concret with real High pressure 12,000+ PSI.... did not use this much on the tank

nick a steamer should (has ) worked fine the lance only has to have a slight bend in it and it really can get right in side the tank the only area that was pot luck was the front top edge.

Hi Miggs

If you want to bump up the numbers (by one) for your volume deal, count me in for a fuel tank repair kit.

Cheers

Steve
