Parts needed

Im after a few parts for my 88 (220) 944 turbo,i need a wastegate,o/s exterior door handle, not sure what its called but i also need the black plastic bit that the bonnet release handle fastens too (part number starts in 928) ,one plastic cover that screws in at the side of the fog light in the front bumper (o/s-closest to number plate) And i would'nt mind a k&n panel filter as well seeing as i just got outbid on one on ebay [] !!!!

I've got a wastegate but it has a big crack inbetween the cooling fins. I keep meaning to take it into work to see if I can get it welded or brazed up - if so you can have it. I'm not sure what condition the diaphram and spring is in though - I suspect not too great shape like the vast majority if not all 944 wastegates.

I've got a fibreglass bonnet to go on mine, so I could take the catch off now and free up the release lever for you I guess.

That would be great if you could, i dont need the lever just the part that it attaches to (held in with 2 small allen screws).

I need to have a look to visualise what it looks like. If it's a bit of trim I might want to hang on to it anyway as I do still have carpet in the car and want it to look OK inside.

I've got a wastegate that was in perfect working order when I replaced it with a DPW. I've got no idea what its worth but maybe someone could give us an unbiased opinion. Drop me a PM if your interested.

I've got a shimmed wastegate that seemed to work OK up to the point that Paul and I removed it.

It does need 3 of the mounting studs drilling out and re-threading though.

£50 +p&p?

Sorry Chris, I think we posted simultaneously. I wasn't trying to create a bidding war.

Fen ,dont worry about the bonnet catch trim as if you are keeping the carpet in this will leave a big hole once removed, thanks Anyway.

Sorry, I meant to get back to you yesterday, but I guess I had other things on my mind...

I went to get some other bits off the car yesterday and checked the bonnet handle - it would leav ean unsightly hole in the carpet as you say so I'll hang on to it. Sorry for getting your hopes up.

IIRC it also contains the pivot pin for the lever, at the rear of the moulding up under the carpet - some idiot broke mine on one of the '44s while installing, or repairing, an alarm. I don't think the part was spectacularly expensive.
