Part Numbers for RS Mags

Fellas,

Another question; is the partnumber stamped on the wheel anywhere?

On my Cup Car Alis it is stamped on the rear face of one of the spokes.

Many thanks,
Kevin.

Yes, if you look inside the indentations inside the inner molding of the wheel centre, the number is cast in one of them.

But the wheel needs to be clean to see it ...

Does the original part no. disappear when the wheels are painted PINK, Chris?

Chris,
Thanks for this - but I thought that RS mags spokes were perfectly flat on the reverse side???
Thx,
Kevin

The spokes are flat on the back. The numbers are inside the hollow indentation in the 'hub' part of the wheel...

I'm sorry to confide that the pink wheels were Cup 1 Aluminium wheels --- but the part numbers were still readable [:D]

Thanks Rich, they don't stay that clean for long ...[:D]

Though I do know somebody who removes the wheels to wash the car ...

They were taken just after the Pristine refurb. Sadly they don't look quite as pristine anymore.
