Porsche Panamera - Inside Out
Friday 31st October 2008[FONT=verdana,geneva"]Interior shots and video of new Panamera[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Porsche has reacted to the stream of sniping over the new Panamera's styling with an official video stressing the dynamic credentials of its family supersaloon - on the same day that the first quality spy shots of the car's interior appeared on the web.

The Porsche video shows on-the-road footage of lightly disguised cars, and we think the controversial shape does look more dramatic when on the move. Or perhaps that's the effect of a bit of magic from a professional film production crew... over to you guys on that one!

[FONT=verdana, geneva"]Meanwhile the new spy shots of the Panamera cabin look set to spark a whole new debate. Courtesy of Teamspeed, the images snapped from the front passenger sear show an extraordinary array of buttons presented in a highly stylised fashion on the centre and roof consoles, while the steering wheel features only a pair of DSG thumbpads.

As expected the occupants sit low, with vision hindered by thick windscreen pillars, but the 'straight ahead' view of the wheel and instrument pack for the driver is pure Porsche.

From what we can make out, the Panamera has a touch screen interface for ICE, navigation and communications, while the array of buttons either side of the gateless shifter control heating, seats, dynamic suspension and ride height plus a boot release button so you won't have to get out to help your wife with the shopping.
