The following member has contacted me seeking advice regarding preventative maintenance of the suspension components of his 970 (1st Gen) Panamera.

Dear Randall,
I wonder if you might be able to connect me with an expert in the matter of 970 suspension? I own a 2011 ‘S’, rear wheel drive with a manual gearbox. It has now covered 93,000 miles. We have utilised it for many long trips, top to bottom of the UK and around Europe, it is irreplaceable to me. I bought it just over 5 years ago and have added the last 50,000 miles to the recorded distance.
Despite having bought several other cars over the same time with the intention of preserving the Panamera, all have proved so inferior that they have been quickly sold, including other Porsche models.
I worry about wearing it out, more so the suspension components than the engine and wonder if there is a recognised expert who may be able to assess and replace any worn parts as a preventative measure at this time? My local independent Porsche specialist, have been excellent with all the routine maintenance to date on the car but I wonder if the suspension may be an area of specialisation?
I would be grateful for your thoughts.
Yours sincerely,
Martin
