Oundle Concours

it's at paul stephens cars in wixio just out side haverhill. i belive its fun where each member marks each others cars, bbq going on as well i think

Do you mean Wixoe in Suffolk?
Is this a combined concours event with another region outside of Cambs and Beds?

When is this?

I have been a member for nearly a year and haven't been to any events yet!

hi brian, yes i do. its not a combined even although a few of us from norfolk and suffolk turned up. sorry i'm just writing now but for some reason forgot to cheack the regions on the lower part of the lists.

tjdixon, there are many events on and you can go to any you please at any region, although your region would be R12 norfolk and suffolk, the RO's are stuart and viv, very nice couple and so are all the other members. we meet at the game keeper on the 3rd tuesday of the month, come along its a good turn out. i now live in london but still go to each meet and most of the other events organised by R12.(thats a round trip of 200+ miles for me and the wife). hope to see you soon.

Thanks for the reply, for some reason I was put in the Cambs and Beds region!

So has this concours event taken place already?

I take it there is a meet next Tuesday then for the Suffolk and Norfolk people, may have to try and get over there! I used to play football on a Tuesday but now thats been changed I should be able to get over!

hi again, i lived in suffolk but was put to the cambridge region, i had been a member for about 4 months before i got a letter from them and in that time went along to norfolk and suffolk region, which i still do, it was also a bit closer i think then the cambs meet. come along on tuesday if poss.

the concours did take place on sunday, i do enjoy the concours ( i put mine in the national last year at eynsham) but the concours at the weekend were fun, where each other marks each others car..... i did'nt bother to even clean mine. we had a vote at our last club meet as to if we should have a proper concours or a fun concours but we who wanted a proper concours were out numberd by a few who wanted fun concours.

Yes should hopefully be along! What time does it tend to start? If your coming up from London what time do you roughly pass Newmarket? I assume you do!

Shame I missed the concours!

hi, i nolonger go up the M11, instead i go up the A12 then along A14 plus a couple of other roads.

time depends on if i can get out from work on time or early, it seems when i have some place to go my customers keep coming in, should'nt complain.

i normally (or try to) get there fo about 8 o/c.

all the members are friendly.
