Original Porsche Exhaust (Silencer) or Dansk?

Hi,

I need to replace one of my silencer boxes (corroded and has a hole) and have been trying to decide which to go for. I know original costs twice as much as Dansk and for the price of one I could buy two Dansk exhausts and do both for symmetry etc. I also know that I'd lose the function of the Sports button but don't mind that much about that. Appreciate any experience and advice. In the meantime, I've used gum gun to patch the hole in the meantime. It works quite well although it doesn't get rid of the vibration of the box due to some loosening of fittings somewhere that causes a ticking, tapping, vibrating squeaky
noise at low speed. This I hope would be sorted as part of replacing the exhaust.

Do you have the PSE option fitted?

I have a "Sport" button on the console if that's what you mean and yes, twin exhaust pipe ends.

That’s the sport chrono option which changes the throttle response and allows less intrusion from the traction control. Changing to a Dansk exhaust wouldn’t affect this switch. It’s only affected if you have the PSE fitted in which case don’t swap...
