Does anyone have any experience with mail order Porsche parts other than Exeter? I have always had good service from them but they used to do much better price discounts whereas now its just the standard 10% which I can get anywhere. The 944 and 968 parts seem to be getting more and more expensive these days with less discount available and 20% VAT it's not a good combination!!

Hi Nick
I've always found Reading ( 0118 930 3911) very helpful and have been given a discount each time that I've used them, can't comment on whether they are any cheaper than Exeter I'm afraid. Recently I've bought my oversize bearings, and then balance shaft bearings, both times given a discount.
regards
Pete

Funny you say that, Stuart at Exeter just gave me 15% off some items I bought from them. They wont do it for all items, just some of the more expensive ones, I bought some brake calipers.
