I am just in the process of extending the warranty on my 992. I have no issue with the warranty itself but my OPC (Colchester) requires payment to be made via a bank transfer (not credit or debit card) using a third party platform called Bumper.Co.
I am being told I cannot make payment using a card over the telephone; I have always paid OPC via card over the telephone.
Bumper.Co is an unregulated credit provider and nor are they registered/regulated as a payment platform of any sort. The OPC do not disclose any commission arrangements but I suspect there is some commission arrangement.
Given there will be many customers of OPC Colchester in this group, can I ask if this is usual for this OPC nowadays.
