Online source of paint?

Hi,

I'm trying to find an online source of touch up paint for my 944S. I know there have been threads on here but try as I might I can't find them. I'm looking for neat paint I can thin and use in an airbrush and with a very fine artist brush to touch up some small stone chips. So about 50 - 100ml

My paint code is Indischrot M3A ( India Red - Guards Red ? )

I seem to remember for some strange reason that despite keeping the same paint code, LM3A, Porsche redesignated the colour Indian Red around the time of your registration year. It might have been for a different country even. The important thing is LM3A, and Your paint code seems to be missing the "L" I don't know about online suppliers though.
 
Hi, I used Auto Paints (St Helens), you can get them online by googling their name or ring them on 01744 818102. They have provided LM3a for me with a very good match, and also metalic paints for other cars all wit a good match.
 
+1 for auto paints in St Helens - I have had paint from them for my Metallic Black 968 and Maritime Blue 944 - a very good colour match on both occasions.

Its always been called Indischrot - Indian Red in Germany. They also called Rubystone Star Ruby on the 944, although that may not have been PCGB.
 
80ml touch up pot ordered & paid for [;)]

Incidentally, rechecked my paint code and the silver sticker def. only says M3A ? Yet all info on the net indicates it should be LM3A , oh well we'll see what happens when the paint turns up, I'm betting ( hoping[8|] ) it'll be a good match !

Paint arrived yesterday ! Only thing I need to find out is what solvent it uses so I can thin some down. The bottle label does say 2pk on it so I'm thinking it is 2 Pack. Will give them a call today to make sure.

Had an interesting chat with one of the chaps from Autopaint today, and I'm glad I did, apparently the paint I ordered is 2 Pack and is ok to use as is with the artist brush for stone chips, but I need to thin it down to use in an airbrush.

After an interesting conversation they are going to send me a small amount of activator FOC which will then allow me use cellulose thinners in the airbrush.

Looks like I've got a busy weekend !
