It has been "Christmas every week" over the last year or so for my 944.
Exactly that for my car!!

Then my mum was very worried I wouldn't be safe driving home with one mirror! And said she may have a spare one, like most semi detatched houses have rooms full of 944 door mirrors.

I got a great big mains-powered polisher, so now I can take the pink bits accidentally back to bare metal.....
Me too. Maybe I will get all the products to go with it for my birthday in January [

The Kit comprised:
A Farecla backing disc with M16 thread to fit the polisher.
A red & an orange sponge to fit the backing disc.
1 bottle medium compound
1 bottle fine compound --made by 3M
That little lot cost over £ 93 at trade prices at a local refinishers factors.
I've used it several times now on the guards red 964,the guards red e-bay 924S & on the BMW.Apart from reading up on detailing,R18 went to a demo,so I engaged the brain (No jokes please).

Mine's had all its Christmas and birthday presents for the next five years in advance this year, having had the full works from Daytona Coachworks, but I couldn't resist a little extra present, which is one of Alasdair's new clock screens to replace the one that failed while it was in the body shop.
Oh any pics of the car now work is done? I'm sure many on here would like to see the car in its present form....
