Ok, this is how it is.........

..As most of you know, I went off to Germany for the ADAC 24hr Rennen with a couple of my mates and Jon Mitchell. Jon brought the Turbo back to me at around 21:00 hrs on the Thorsday night and, after a cuppa, we set off straight away for the Euro tunnel and Calais. Jon had my car for a few weeks doing "This and That" and, in a nut shell, he totally transformed the car. From the word GO, it handled like a "Go Cart". This is thanks to the KW V3 suspension (set at about half way) , uprated 968 anti roll bars, A full set of "Porsche motor sport" poly bushes, New steering Rack, New 968 disc's all round with Cast holes and, a new set of Pagid Black pads. Plus a few other bits and pieces. The car went like a fcuking "Rocket Ship" there and back and, we had a fantastic weekend (five days)[8D]. I have booked three apartments at Eddy's for next year with about four places going begging if any of you lot are interested??? My Turbo is now safely back at Jon's gaff for a full on Head Job and, a Fabspeed 3" Exhaust with a 3" Turbo elbow. Also, thinking about a uprated Turbo and, a Capricorn (Perfect Bore) bottom end rebuild. I will keep you posted. As I am an old man of 56 yrs, I think I will keep it as a "Bullet Proof" 2.5 litre, banging out about 420 BHP [8D]. That should suit me down to the ground [;)][:D][:D]

I'll bet you were really well behaved on the roads when you were 21 then [:D]

Sounds like you will have an awesome car! [8D] 400bhp in a well sorted 944 is such a fantastic beast.

If it were me I'd get a written completion date or you might not see the car again this year [;)] Or get them to do all the work to different a block then just drop it into you car at the end [:D]

I'm going to pick up the Turbo from Jon's on Wednesday or, Thorsday. Enjoy him for a long weekend and, then take him back to Bournemouth the following Wednesday or Thorsday. I apologise in advance for the ghastly stone chips on the front but, that's just because it's being driven properly [;)][8D]!! It's a good job Ewan's not coming.....he hates stone chips [:D].
