Oil pressure relief valve

Does any body know the spec of the oil pressure relief valve (later type).
Got mine out at the moment and checked it for free movement etc and whilst I was at it I checked the loads on it. To open the valve (just crack it) took a load of about 1.9 kg which increased to about 2.4 kg at fully open.
This equates to about 2.4 bar to crack and about 3.2 bar fully open. This however is with the valve out of the engine and doesn't take into account any back pressure which may be on the back face of the poppet.
I was just wondering if anyone had a figure for what the spring load should be.
I have run a test gauge on the engine and get about 2 - 2.5 bar idle warm and a good 4.5 to 5 bar hot at 3000 rpm. Cold though, the pressure went up to 8 bar before it levelled out.
I don't have a problem with low oil pressure! I can't find any specs in the manuals except for the usual 4.5 bar hot figure at 3000rpm etc so I was wondering if anyone knew any more about this.
Thanks
