Just wanting options on this, my 8v lux has oil leaks at the front ie. crank pulley and balance shafts etc... I was saving to do the whole belts, seals, water pump etc... All in one job but...
A friend on mine had a lift the other day and noticed that the oil pressure was high, 0 engine off, 3 at tick over when warm and 5 or as high as the gage goes when moving. He suggested I might have a stuck pressure relif valve? (he does run his own garage so has come across this but never worked on 944's)
I just presumed the gauge was wrong?
Any experience with this?
