The heatshield above the oil cooler has snapped at the mounts and I need to get in there to get it out and repaired. Whilst I'm under there I've noticed a tiny weep of coolant from what I think is the OPRV (no oil in coolant or owt like that) so am considering changing the cooler seals "while I'm in there."
Once I've drained the coolant it seems pretty straightforward to do and possibly without removing the exhaust manifolds too, we'll see. There is mention of using the correct alignment tool and also of not needing it so wondered if anyone had any advice/experience as I'm loath to spend £30-odd quid on a tool I'll use once!
Thanks in advance, David
