Odd Springs Help please

Hi . I bought a pair of 968 club sport springs from Porsche and fitted them earlier this week.The car is now sitting about 10 - 20 mm lower on on side than it is on the other. I've checked to make sure the springs are seated properly and don't have a broken coil.Everything is as it should be. The question I have is do i take them off and take them back to Porsche or do you think they will settle and be the same. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this before?
 
Sounds like you've got a mismatched set, you haven't mixed backs and fronts to side to side have you?

Please excuse me if that's a daft question, I have K3 coil-overs on my car and can't remember how it was before. (It's my age)

But I would say it's wrong and you need to sort it now, don't wait for it to settle, it won't.

There only is fronts. I don't think they are sided. The both have the same markings and both looked the same when I put them on.
 
ok, so you're still using the Torsion bars on the rear? (I re-indexed mine when I put the Kw3's on)

well I still think if the platforms are about the same it should sit square. I'd be tempted to get it down to the PD and ask them.

Sure sounds like a mismatched set even tho the markings are the same. Otherwise the only explanation would be in the top spring seat and the top mount. Have you checked to see that the bearing is still in the top mount on both sides? The bearing shouldn't normally just drop out but the height difference sounds about the same as the thickness of that bearing...
 
Struts are rotating smoothly so I don't think its the top mount bearing although I will check. I'm taking the car away with me this week ( not far only 150 mile round trip) as I need to get miles on it before it goes to Le-mans. I'll call Porsche on Tuesday when they reopen and ask the parts / service guys what they think. but it looks like Porsche have sent an odd set. Strange as I have never had a problem with parts from Porsche before.
 
Fit the longer spring on the drivers side and get someone to measure the ride height with you sitting in the drivers seat OP. Measure to the castor block not the wheel arch.
