8pm - 20th October at George Albert Hotel, DT2 9PW
Steve Walker from Porsche Cars Reading will be giving a talk on Hybrid technology. 30 to 40 minutes + Q&A session.

Really looking forward to this - but a warning - I understand this will kick-off promptly - make sure you're there!

YES, Steve Walker will start promptly at 8pm. When finished he needs to get back to Reading. He is doing this talk in his own time and not being paid by Porsche. So we would appreciate all attending being on time.

Is Charlie or any of the R17 crowd aware of this and coming across for it? He keeps mentioning the stereo for your car - it would be nice to get the two back together!!!

An excellent evening. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the informative talk given by Steve. Steve enjoyed himself so much he is willing to do another talk in the future. I for one look forward to that.

Agreed, great evening and a most interesting talk - looking forward to more of the same. Despite early concerns, it was a pretty good R26 turn-out and would have looked well attended from Steve's viewpoint.
Unfortunately, despite all the incredible hybrid technology available today and on the horizon, it's the thought of the V8 in the 918 spinning at 10,000 rpm that gets me salivating. If that makes me sound like a Philistine then so be it, I'm guilty as charged!
