Just got my issue today and 964rs has a special mention, "just stonking. One special Porsche, no surprise prices are rising fast, expect to pay over £35,000 for one".
1st Evo and now Octane catching on!

Good stuff! Probably worth even more if it's one of those rare shades of blue. You know, Midnight, Maritime, etc!!

Never thought of that. Just out of interest, do you get a choice of wheel colour on the 997 GT3 RS? Not sure if black suits those modern cars.

Regards
Martin

You can opt for silver but I think it destroys the look. See below...too much colour going on.

Lee, not sure about Black Magnesium wheels lowering the value of 964RS, I have a set of each and not sure which looks the best?
When I was looking for an RS about 6 years ago I was advised that an RS without the Mags was worth 3 to 4 K less!
RS sellers then, were selling the wheels for £1500.00, then putting on a cheap set of split rims and hope to find an unsuspecting buyer.
I know of several owners with a spare set and have heard about a guy in Sweden with 7 sets!
As you know a LHD RS with non original wheels is heavy in the steering and not very nice to drive on the road.

Personally I like the black wheels on both cars.

To be honest the 18"s on the RS drive better than when I have my mags fitted with the hard walled cup sport sticky things as the side wall doesn't have any give....much harsher believe it or not.

Still I listened to the crap hype about the mags and bought a set at great expense only to learn that my splitties are far far rarer.
