When I was looking for an RS about 6 years ago I was advised that an RS without the Mags was worth 3 to 4 K less!
RS sellers then, were selling the wheels for £1500.00, then putting on a cheap set of split rims and hope to find an unsuspecting buyer.
I know of several owners with a spare set and have heard about a guy in Sweden with 7 sets!
As you know a LHD RS with non original wheels is heavy in the steering and not very nice to drive on the road.

Lee, not sure about Black Magnesium wheels lowering the value of 964RS, I have a set of each and not sure which looks the best?

Personally I like the black wheels on both cars.
To be honest the 18"s on the RS drive better than when I have my mags fitted with the hard walled cup sport sticky things as the side wall doesn't have any give....much harsher believe it or not.
Still I listened to the crap hype about the mags and bought a set at great expense only to learn that my splitties are far far rarer.
