Not quite the Turbo S I was looking for

After looking for a Turbo S and getting lots of information on a few cars I travelled down to the other end of the country this weekend to view 2 cars.

What I returned home with isn't what I had originally considered 2 months ago [:-]

It's a 964 Anniversary (Number 256 of 911) in Viola Metallic with Rubikon Grey Leather Interior. The car has done 50,000 miles and has a Full Service History. there were only 40 Right Hand Drive cars built for the 30th Anniversary of the 911 so it is a rare beast. [:)]

Big thanks to Mike Moore and James France (Frenchy) for coming with me on the 800 mile round trip and helping me make what is hopefully the correct decision for my second Porsche.

I will post some better pics up when I have had time to get the car cleaned properly.

very nice car.

That has to be one of my favourite colours, you need to get a lot of glaze / wax on that (not that it isn't shiny anyway!) and post some more pics in the sun!

Lovely looking car. Maybe one day a 964 or 993 might sit in my garage, though I may have to scratch my 928 itch first !

Congratulations Martin,

One of my fave colours, and the wide body 964 without the turbo tail has a certain special appeal.

Next week, there will be a 2 owner, 30k miles, fsh, turbo S on PH, totally original.......

Let us know how you get on with the engine back there, I find the coil-spring cars are different.

Bit of a change of direction but a good one I think for something different to compliment the 944. Some pics of the interior and engine would go down well [8D]

Here's a few pictures taken yesterday after a quick wash [:)]

A few small jobs to be done trim wise but overall very happy with how it drives and handles [:D]

That is a beautiful car in fantastic condition the best of both worlds. How does it drive like compared to the 944?

The 944 drives itself but you have to say more focused in the 964 as you can find our speed fluctuating quite a lot if you don't [:D]

Nice would love to see it. Hope to catch you at a get together. I've always had a soft spot for 964 especially wide body cars.
