not even a wave

In the 3 months or so of 944 ownership I've yet to see another on the road to wave at. [&:]

I think I must have the only 944 in Coventry.

Definatly well said, I always wave (except for if I was a bit slow reacting) and it get's really annoying the amount of Porsche owners who don't wave, even some 944 owners won't so if we all return the wave it will be lot nicer and some people on the road who think we're all a bit of a jumped up tit of a Porsche driver might start to think we aren't so ignorant (some do think that[&:])

Definately agreed its the "p***k in the Porsche" attitude and if the truth be known 99% of the Porsche owning fraternity are Porsche heads and are good decent down to earth folk. Its the 1% that give us all this label. If the 1% were driving BMW or Mercedes they would still be jumped up tosspots no matter. The world is full of them ....!

I bet you see loads of BL Maestros and Itals running around though!
The drivers can't wave to each other, scared to let go of the steering wheel.

I cannot respond to your comment as it appears from your avatar that your big end is in the front.
All I will say is "only on moist to damp corners". Infer what you like!
 
Surely they are more likely to think there is something wrong with the car? I flashed my lights once and waved at a guy in a 944 when I was driving me Saab, I felt guilty when he then started fumbling around to try and find what was wrong with the car.

AFAIK this thing with waving at others within the marque and if the car is old or new is the same with all marques. When I had my Saab 900 I used to wave and flash and got one back as often as I have done in the 944. I never bother in the Saab 9-5 and have never even been aknowledged by a fellow 9-5iver even though it is likely that Saab sold more 900's in this country then the current models.

Could also be down to the lack of real enthusiasts buying into the cars though?
