Hello all hows it going? Well I fort I would say hi to you all I'm Simon and I'm soon to be the proud owner of my first Porsche a black 1989 944 S2. I've always loved the 944's it's the first car I can remember seeing race. So when the opportunity to get one came up last week I put a deposit on it there and then I've been known in the past for having some rather mad vw's having 2 full features in pvw and ultra vw and picking up afue trophies aswell I will be putting my mark on my 944 but not going mad with it that's what my volksrod is for I shall post photos of my new baby as soon as I get her home in the next couple of weeks speak to you soon simon

Welcome to the fold... Sounds like you have plenty of hands on experience so I think you will enjoy 944 ownership although they aren't as easy to work on as a VW (I assume you are talking air cooled).

Good luck with your purchase and hoping you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

Welcome, I have had mine three months, hasn't been totally a smooth run but these cars do get under your skin.

Hi Simon, if you are in Norfolk, are you coming along to Club Night tonight at the Bird in Hand, Wreningham? Would be great to see you - we are, after all, Region of the Year for 2011. See http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tt.asp?forumid=137 for full details of our calendar, location, events etc. Hope to see you soon.
