Non Sunroof - How Rare?

My '88 Turbo S doesn't have a sunroof. Prior to purchasing the car, I ran the chassis & engine numbers through OPC Reading - apparently my car is a Silver Rose 'special' i.e. it's a Silver Rose model but with custom paintwork (mostly silver but with a low body dark grey/black two tone) and bright red leather can can interior !

An M758 with Can-Can??? Obviously the standard upholstery was too subtle/quiet for the original purchaser... :ROFLMAO:

Silverose cars /Turbo S are the same thing M758, Turbo S cars are a Silverose, but later ones had colour/trim combo's to suit the customers taste, all Turbo S cars are MY88.
Non had sunroofs (in the UK) Split rear seats, 10 speaker pack, MO30 Chassis, lighter windscreen,LSD with oil cooler hardened gears.
Most of the mechanical bits, 250 engine were carried over to later models with M030 an option.

i have to say Hilux,- you have impeccable taste, the wheels, stance, non-s/r shell, suspension spec (kw&welt from memory?) colour, presentation, - stunning.

ps: i like burgundy trim, very 80's, pre the days when it was cheaper to standardise charcoal[8|]

Seems a crazy amount of money for a sunroof, whats so good about them?

It's made well, and as rare as a very rare thing. I guess if you want a clear sunroof you could have something custom-made, but the Saratoga part is as good as Porsche would have made.

I like the Silverose exterior colour and the Studio trim, not keen on the burgundy dash etc
A glass sunroof would have been a nice option IMO

I like the burgundy interior minus the studio stuff! Didn't see many sports seats in plaid trim? You would have thought they all should have been given the rest of the spec?
