Non start diagnosis procedure

I'm neither a mechanic nor a vehicle electrics technician, but I can generally manage to follow straightforward workshop manual type instructions, so can someone point me in direction of a logical diagnostic procedure for a non starting issue. Engine turns over a treat, but makes no attempt to fire. I believe the problem is probably down to the fuel pump circuit, as I can't hear them humming when the ignition is switched on, but, as I say, an idiot's diagnotic guide would be appreciated.

I hope this helps, just forget about the B relay unless yours is a usa model, Alarm circuit maybe, please let us know how you get on/rectify the fault

All sorted out and running now. Rookie error on my part. Wire to overboost switch was broken inside insulating sleeve of right angled spade connector, which kills ignition system. I've had this happen before and would normally check it first, but this time I didn't.

Well done John

Are we having another 930 display in Regent Street this year 10 years on from the last one, if so count me in

I can't remember how that Regent Street happened....if there's going to be a recurrence, Nick and Ed's London Region will be to the fore
