Noise from my rear

Has anyone suffered this problem?

When I go over bumps in the road (and they dont have to be big) I get a noise from the nearside rear which sounds as if the deck in the rear boot is bouncing around or I have a house brick loose in there.

Paragon replaced the anti roll bar bushes but that did not cure it. Anyone any ideas?

i was going to say have you checked under the seats for anything that could be rolling around .eg fire extingisher......this has happened to me!!
but from what you said the noise is coming from the wrong place for that. maybe Mark bennet ,Stuart Martin,or JCB(Digger)may be able to help next time they log on.
 
If Paragon have already looked at it, I don' t what more to add.

I guess the obvious things to check are that there is nothing loose in the boot (inc under the carpet if applicable), there is nothing loose in the engine bay (in case they left anything in there), that the wheel is not loose (would have though you would notice handling issues), that the exhaust mountings are tight.

The other possibility is that the sound is fooling you and it is coming from the front really, but is echoing in the bodywork or somthing and sounds like the back from the drivers seat?
 
I have checked for loose deck in the boot and found a golf ball and two mummyfied satsumas and thought I had found the problem but the noise still remains. (I must stop my wife shopping in the car!!)

I have nothing loose in the engine bay and the exhaust seems secure.

If I find the reason for the noise I will post the outcome.

In the meantime I will do as you suggest which will have added benifits when driving the wife!!!!!
