In the recent PP, Paul Hedges had problems sourcing the brake slides to recondition his calipers. I had this problem a while ago when I tried to get reconditioned calipers. I was told they would be reconditioned except for the slides while were nla and wouldn't be re-newed - this seemed like doing half the job. So being no stranger to engineering plastics, I made my own from 3mm thick teflon sheet bought from ebay, item no. 371284312817 (no vested interest). I cut them roughly to shape with a fine hacksaw, using the existing one as a pattern, and then finished the shape with a fine file, see photo. As it was a few years ago, I can't remember if I had to adjust the thickness too or not.
Usual caveats apply here - the above procedure is at your own risk.
No doubt you could get a machine shop to make some for you if you created a drawing or provided a pattern.
