Interesting point - the gloomyness of the all-black interiors. I always think of 944's as having light, bright interiors as mine is linen with a blue dash, and I am always slightly surprised by just how gloomy and dark they can be.

Yellow strip across the dash looks more than a little Fiat Coupe-esque. Not to my taste, but each to their own.

yes I agree Oli I could not own and drive a car with a dark interior either. I thought as revamps go it was quite restrained [;)]. It certainly brightens up what would otherwise be a very dark lifeless interior.

We definitely have the best colour scheme on our cars don't you agree ? I pity all those poor owners that have to' make-do' with a turbo when they could have had the vastly superior S2 .

I wouldn't go any further than I have with the interior. I wouldn't want a lifeless interior (hence the yellow details) or lifeless performance (hence the modified turbo car, and not an S2)[:D]

Car looks really good both inside and out, I think the yellow dash really sets the interior off it matches in well without being over stated because of the seat and mat trim.

I originally had mine silver but for me that was to much and I am now very happy with the gloss black (thanks Paul for the comment) Someone posted the other day pictures of their carbon fibre look dash that looked good as well.
 
I can second Frenchy's comment about using soapy water to move the stickers around. Its really easy, worked first time for me.
 
I have an all black interior, I dont think its at all gloomy, I love it, much better than the 'modern' boring grey interiors found in most newer Porsches
