Be up for this if it doesn't coincide with house move or preparations, and the old girl doesn't get any more incontinent...might even clean it this year!
 
A cautionary tale concerning group driveouts in high performance cars in winter weather. No serious injuries, fortunately, but highly embarrassing and expensive... That sounds like a warning to look out for people who can't drive and are speeding and tailgating.
 
Would be up for this again, missed last years. Since the old girl doesn't get used much any more it will do her good to do a decent run.
 
Hi All, Just looking through last year's details to get the pub details, we met late February last year and January the year before. Just thought I would ask are we sticking with January?
 
Either Jan or Feb would make sense. Could anyone interested please vote on possible dates in the Poll thread I have stickied at the top of the message board so we can see if any sort of consensus shows itself (well we can but live in hope !)
 
Gents, I have contacted the White Horse in Rutland and they would be pleased to have us again this year, we can have the back room for 20 Let me know if you want me to organise the lunch end of things again.

Put me down for grub if we're eating [:D]
 
Should we take deposits for lunch this time? Last year we were lucky not to have to share the cost of the meals for the people who didn't turn up on the day (thanks to Tony for eating three meals [:D][:D]). It's understandable that the pub charges us for all the meals booked, seeing as they are giving us the private room, but it's only fair people realise they are giving a firm booking and that they will honour it even if an emergency comes up. [:)]
 
I have just checked the route to the White Horse, from my house, and the AA puts the journey time at 3hr52min. But I don't think they're banking on a modified 944 Turbo on quiet sunday morning roads. I'm quietly confident I can beat their time[:D][:D]

To be fair I had help! was quite novel having other people order for us ;)

Yes! I'm more than happy to eat anyone's meal who doesn't turn up. That was the question, right?
