Just picked up a set of these 18” wheels for my 987.2S to replace my 19” Spyder wheels in the winter for road trips North and into various regions of Europe where they’re mandatory. The Michelin Alpin tyres on the rims look ok but are aged so will need replacing. Does anyone have any recommendations? The wheels looks to be in quite good cosmetic condition but I’m considering painting them a deep metallic gold / bronze as I reckon this’ll look good against Basalt Black metallic. Thoughts … stick with Porsche colour palette of silver or black or do something different?
