Hi all, ok as I have been running 18"s now for 10 years the drive has slowly started to get on my nerves a bit....jumping around, tramlining, heavy steering and nearside wheel arch getting caught regularly, whilst I really wanted a set of Fuch or something really different I have gone for these 16"......what do you think?

Not wishing to diss any ones taste but 18's often look a bit over done or pimped to me. What you have in the pics looks 'right'

Regards mas

I really like the look Andy, good choice I think. The pics make me think of Knight Rider though, maybe we'll have to call you 'Hoff' from now on [:D]

Very appropriate-looking for the car, and I am sure you are feeling the improvements in its behaviour on the road!

Love D90s and they look great in black, with the bright rim stops the whole car being too black - looking forward to seeing it in the flesh next week.[:)]

Thanks fellers for the kind comments, glad you like them they only went on today and had a short run before dropping her off to OPC
The drive was excellent sooooo much easier.

Well they look much better than I thought that combo would look, if I was going to be really picky I would say you need to dress your tyre walls, especially as now you have black wheels on a black cars it can make the grey tyre walls more obvious.

A definite improvement.

I don't normally like that black and silver combination (other than Fuchs) but the way yours have been painted, with just the spokes black, looks really superb.

Nice looking car - the wheels look great however one word of warning..................P6000`s [&:]

Be careful, they are a very very hard compound.

Potential ditch finders.

Hard Compound? simples just go to Deamon Tweeks or similar and buy a tin of Grip.Brush on and soften the compound. Not a total solve I must admit but still worth a go.

I found p6000's to be fine at the 'ring once they were warm enough, after being told they were ditchfinders by somebody who had never tried them.
They are not the greatest in terms of ultimate grip but I think the price reflects that.

In my seven years or so around 944s i've found one thing to be a constant source of agreement; P6000s last forever and have no grip whatsoever.

I did about 20K miles on the P6000s VJ wore, and they certainly never showed any sign of the lables wearing through. The car also had highly amusing handling that suited me fine for a while. It's fun to be playing "drift-god" at about 10 MPH, but I'd always consider the Falkens on my S2 for about £75 a corner to be in a different league entirely, and I'd not go back to the Pirellis again.
