I went down to Redditch last Sunday to look at the red 86 turbo recently advertised in the cars for sale section, well a mate of mine Steve has bought the car and it resides around the corner from me now, 944,s are rapidly multyplying in North Cumbria.
Overall a clean example mechanically good, though requires minor little jobs, central locking, a few small parking dings and some bits of missing/damaged trim fettled.
The Cup 1's fitted to the car were sold to the previous owner by MOI !
Steve has not yet posted but says that he will come and say hello.
Be nice to him.

Jim, is this the lad near you who also has the other 944 for sale ?

We should have plenty 944's at the local show's this Summer !!

The Lux he had went to Bristol, this is the replacement ! there is another Baltic Blue 220 around the corner which was very very clean and the guy got it for next to nothing, he paid 2.5k and it was worth at least 5.5k, it is slowly being ruined, thrashed everywhere and never cleaned, stands outside in all weathers even though he has a double garage, he is not interested in "club stuff"

Was on the drive tonight covered in mud and salt [:(]

Some nice 944's moving into Cumbria and as said will be good to see them all out at a few shows this year or on a few runs [:)]

I think it is time we had a Cumbria and Scotland meet up, somewhere in the middle would be good like Moffat or something, a Rutland of the North.

Alan.

PS. James, are you going to RS Day at Oulton this year?

That sounds like a very good idea Alan

Cheers, Paul

Hiya Al, i have just been reading about the RS day on their forum, yes i am up for it, i have been going for at least the last 4 years, it's always bloody freezing, yes we will have to get something sorted for when the weather gets more civilised [;)]

I'll see you there then, unsure whether I'm taking the 944 or the Boxster 'S'. I was there in the Boxster in November and the waterpump let go.
Fortunately no further damage was caused and Ninemeister replace the pump the next day.

Alan.

Al, will you be on track ? Ruddy-Martin we should have a run down to this..........................excellent day with some great pork hooning around the track, bring a helmet as passenger rides are given [;)]
