Hi just bought a 718 Cayman Style Edition, picking it up on 13th January. Was a December registration with delivery miles only on it. A fair amount of extras. Very much looking forward to learning more about the car and the forums. Also lucky to own an 2018 Focus RS Edition and a 2022 Alpine A110s. Ill tell you more on the 13th when I pick it up

Thanks and Will do. Tested the Cayman before the I bought the Alpine and decided the Alpine was a little more my thing. However went the Nurburgring this year and had some Porsche time so thought if I can afford another toy I will. Also feel with Petrol going away and the dealer said 2024/2025 the last Caymans being made I thought I would add one to the fleet. Also something to pass to the kids maybe one day - or at least enjoy for a good few years. In my 50's now so have a bit of spare cash to play with and enjoy life before I get too old !Welcome Paul. Congrats, I’m sure I won’t be first to say hi. Will be interesting to get your unbiased views comparing A110 as I had same choice….it was as simple as luggage space that swung it for me but hey, get them both
Thanks my edition has the MP375 as it was fitted and warranted by ford. Thanks will report further next weekWelcome Paul. I sold a 2017 Focus RS to buy my Cayman. Would love to have kept both as both incredible cars but very different. My RS was mountuned as well which made a good difference. Enjoy your Cayman.
Picked it up this morning photos to follow later. One quick question ordered the Porsche metal fuel cap which arrived in the post. How to you fit it. The teather on the one on the car is very securely fixed over a plastic holder/pin sticking out and scared of pulling it too hard. Am I missing something or just being silly. ? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks used a small screwdriver on the Tether. All sorted.
Very pleased, good handover by the Dealer (Julian and Dom) one thing missing they promised to replace the silver badge on the back with a black one but on order so will fit me in on a Saturday to swap over. Getting used to it today, already have 117 miles on it by end of the weekend hope to have circa 250. Treating it gentle - I aways run in cars. will bound to have some questions but so far so good. I am sure I'll post these by end of weekend. !
