New owner reporting in 981S

Picked up my new to me Boxster 981S in December 2020 and have been having some niggles sorted out and waiting for some decent weather to get a few photos and enjoy the car. Finally got a break in the weather and temperatures over zero degrees yesterday.

Looking forward to continuing to learn more about these great cars from the friendly members on here. First drive out with my region is in about 5 weeks and fingers crossed, with lockdowns, we are allowed to gather and get out together. Just need some warm weather and sun to really enjoy the car although the roof does come down at every opportunity.

Cheers Cliff. Even in winter we are loving the car, when we finally get some proper weather to enjoy it I am sure that will only increase the pleasure.

Congratulations and welcome to the Boxster fold. If you would like to email me over a photo I will include you in the new members section of Porsche Post. Also have you registered the car with club office in order to receive group emails etc.

Looks great Kaiser981

Hope you get to give it a shakedown soon [;)]

Mine's been sat in the garage for a couple of months with the CTEK plugged in.
Cant wait for the better weather to blow the cobwebs off it

w/c 22nd Feb the weather is looking miles better
Nice this weekend in my neck of the woods too

Fingers crossed, hard to believe I'm saying it's much warmer these last few days, it's been 9 degrees ! Snow back on Thursday according to forecast but will be gone the same day.

I'm sure some proper driving weather will come soon and all the salt will be washed off the roads by the rain that comes before it. Still we got the car out last night, roof down and sport plus mode, not too many cobwebs left [8D]

Car entering day 3 of its paint correction and ceramic coating treatment.

Looks good....the 981 is such a rewarding car to drive and just keeps giving .

you've also got some stunning roads in Northern Ireland which i'm very envious of having spent a bit of time in Belfast recently .

Good luck

Thank you, My detailer just so happens to be on the Causeway Coast driving route. The Wheels are back from Refurb today and have been ceramic coated so we are just waiting for them to harden off before collecting tomorrow.
