Hi John

Welcome to the club. Travelling to monthly meetings can be difficult but there is no reason not to visit other regions events.

Many NW Region members based in Liverpool, Bolton, Wigan, Ramsbottom etc come along to Lancashire Region events at Garstang Golf Club, just 5 miles north of Preston, and you are very welcome to join us. You wouldn't have to encounter Manchester traffic if you are in the northern, eastern or western area on NW Region. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 19.45. Our meeting this we Wednesday is our "Alternative Vehicle Night", where people come along in one of their other vehicles they own in addition to their Porsche. In the past e haw had Ferrari, Aston Martins, Rolls Royce American Pick Up, Golf's and even a Robin Reliant

Thanks David,

I will keep an eye on the meet threads for the regions and see about getting along to one at some point , only just joined the forum despite having joined nearly a year ago.

And, (dare I say this?)you might want to also consider joining TIPEC (The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts' Club) who have particularlu strong regions in the NW (Lancashire) and Cheshire/Staffs
